This year we had the pleasure of Marco Cedeño Fonseca (@marco_vcf and Orlando O. Ortiz (@aroids.pma ) speaking on the importance of morphological photography in the taxonomic studies of plants in the Araceae family, where they also introduced the Monstera lamersiana (named after Gijs Lamers of @amazon_garden_thailand ), a recently described species native to Costa Rica, bearing similarities to Monsera filamentosa. The adult form of M. lamersiana features shorter green petioles, and a smaller leaf blade.

Epipremnum aureum ‘Teruno Carnival’

The ‘Teruno Carnival’ is believed to have originated in Japan. The cultivar was developed and popularized for its unique, highly variegated foliage, which is more pronounced and diverse in color patterns compared to other Epipremnum varieties.
